Claire visited my father at his home a few weeks before he passed away. As a family we were nervous about the conversations to have with him and also the preparation and plans we needed to put in place. Claire not only helped us with exactly what we needed to do in terms of forms and people to contact (as my father wanted to die at home and not go to hospital) but she was so confident, tactful and kind in her approach. She made us feel at ease and gave my dad such loving care, it makes me cry when I think about it. What I also loved about her was that she was so honest and put us all at ease as we really had no idea where to reach out for help. Thank you Claire, we will be forever grateful.
Claire was an amazing support when my Mum was in her final stages of metastatic breast cancer. I lived over an hour away from my Mum and have a young family; Claire was able to give me invaluable advice about when was the right time to drop everything and go and be with her. She was also able to offer helpful advice about pain relief when my Mum's situation deteriorated over a weekend. Claire has a wonderful, calming manner and a confidence that makes you feel totally supported. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Claire's service to anyone facing this difficult time in their lives.
